Worthwhile? Why do people climb mountains?

At least with work as well as the satisfaction of completing deadlines, there of course is the addiction of that dreaded liking for money and the pay check that follows.

....I helped initiate a project that i'm deeply involved in to save the org money in the thousands so no pressure :) and i use it to perk myself up, practice some of my CBT and to create a good work/home life balance. The people in my team are great and the organisation is great too.
