Quetiapine

Has anyone any experience of stopping quetiapine? I have been taking for a while but was asked to stop, but my mood is all over the place , I just don't know whether this is short term withdrawal stuff or whether just wasn't right time to stop

Hi I am not taking this so can't offer any specific advice. Who told you to stop? Your doctor? In which case you should be having a supervised withdrawal.

No except you or your doctor can tell you if it is too soon to stop, or whether these side effects will wear off in time and maybe you should discuss it with them.

psych prescribed them short term , said too many risks longer term, GP wanted to keep me on them but just stopped

Well if you just stopped suddenly I am not surprised you are having side effects. Can you have a word with your psychiatrist to see what s/he says? x
