Is it possible to stop rumination?

Or can I only acheive a stage where I ruminate less? I'm worried I'll always ruminate, even when I get old. I'm trying to fix it with CBT.

Is it achievable to 100% stop habitual rumination?

Good question,,,, wish I knew the answer...

Maybe it is possible to not care about intrusive thoughts, the less the thoughts disturb you, the less time you will spend engaging with the thoughts, at least that's what the theory says.

I would n't have thought there was much wrong with rumination altho remuneration is better. Better to ruminate when you are old than be incapable of it.

I suppose it depend what you're ruminating about but stopping it 100% sounds a bit drastic.
