Hi, It must be hard to know you have an incurable illness, but you have at least survived it for seven years. I hope it isn't affecting your life too much. It sounds as though it is preying on your mind a lot, why not ask your GP to refer you for counselling so you can talk through your anxiety about it? Suexx

I have tried counseling did not have any effect, you only feel better In the immediate. Once you close your eyes reality sets in. I even tried o commit suicide about five years ago, I swallowed a botte if tranquilizers, could you believe that absolutely nothing happened to me. I even went to the hospital to get checked out, they could not trace anything. I will probably try shooting myself knowing my luck the bullet won't kill me, will survive, probably leaving me with more permanent damage. So what next?

I would agree that if you can have a few sessions of counselling to discuss how your condition affects your life etc. it is well worth it. I have a number of non-life-threatening but incurable medical conditions and found counselling really helpful as regards pain management etc. If you can find a reputable website or community on the web it can be a great help.
