Sore Snotty Nose

For the last month or so now ive had a slight snotty nose which is sticky and greenish. It all started with what i thought was a lil cold. My inner nose was then sore at the very bottom and id thought i may of had something poking through, it looked red and snabby and was sore. Every now and then when i blow my nose there is the smallest bit of fresh red blood as though ive taken a scab off and i get brownish crusty bits in the tissue.

What i find strange is that it all started in my left nostril and now its in my right!

Anybody got any ideas what this could be b4 i bug my GP?
