7 week post circumcision surgery

it’s been 7 weeks since I had my surgery.

I feel like there are two dissolvable stitches left. Has anyone else’s had the dissolvable stitches and how ling did they last?

I am still sensitive on where the stitches are and especially under the glans at the back for the penis.

I am sure I just need to be give it more time.

Heya, how're you? Yes, had the dissolvable stitches. Took around 6 weeks for all mine to fall out on the surface. Was still tender for a week or so where they were. Then at week 10 two tiny stitch ends popped out my frenulum then they disappeared after a salt wash. So, they were gone by week 6, but not completely gone until week 10. Random.

Exactly give it more time. I had a circumcision and later a frenulum removal and the stitches did eventually come out. Enjoy it.

hi there, hope things are going well. I had dissolvable stitches, they mostly came out around weeks 3-4, but there was a ‘knot’ around the frenulum that seemed to take a couple more weeks., then a sort of scab that shrunk after that. 11 weeks on all gone. If concerned, just make sure you see the doctor. Don’t take any risk with recovery.
