i couldn’t have answered better myself than Man7Cut. Try not to be nervous although it’s natural to be . Just remember salt bathing and soft cotton padding in your underwear when ready to wear anything and you will be fine. I was nervous but have no regrets.

Do not know when my op is and the skin attached to my foreskin and penis is sore

I can relate to that because I was in the same situation. It became so bad that any kind of sexual activity was impossible. I decided to go private as the waiting time was long. Hope you get treated soon as it's not a pleasant situation to be in

It depends where in the UK you live. Ask your GP what the current waiting times are for your health board. My area was 2 years which is why I chose to go private

I initially consulted my uk GP . My referral appointment was in excess of a year. Fortunately I when not in the uk live and work in Grand Cayman so I used my health insurance leaving me just a 20% cost. I had same day consultation and op within 3 weeks . Sigh @ NHS Lately. I’d also ensure they mark your case as acute.

Do you mean circumcision and are you worrying about the procedure? In my case, yes I was naked but covered by a hospital gown. The nurse also brought disposable underwear but we both agreed there was no point considering the area of the op. Everyone was very professional and kind, making me relaxed about the whole thing. Have a chat with your doctor or consultant beforehand and raise any concerns there.

If it is circumcision u r not going to be naked, u will be covered by gown except ur penis,
