Got Some New Pants - Thought I'd Recommend

Hey all... I've been having a nightmare trying to find some new pants that feel comfy and don't stick to the old fella when he's got some Vaseline on him (briefs are fine for half a day or so, but I'm usually itching to change them cos they rub my scar line and chafe a bit. Anyway, I see a lot of posts about what pants to wear and just wanted to recommend some I bought recently that are helping me get through week 5 of my post-circumcision journey.

Found them on Amazon here: amazon.co.uk/dp/B08MXLJ8PG?...

So far so good, very soft and stretchy with some good support for the old balls. Nice mesh material that feels very breathable. No seam where your penis sits at all, which is probably the best bit about these pants. Good medium between snug to keep your penis still but stretchy so you don't endlessly snag him when you sit down.

Hope this post is okay - mods feel free to slap my wrist. I am not on commission for these, I just bought them and wanted to recommend them to my fellow post-circ forum friends.

Tom.

Basically, and I gotta say they're proving to be pretty comfy. Keep the old chap where he is.

look good if you got the tackle to fill them out. 😂

I don't mean to boast...

Well found! Personally I didn’t find any pants that were comfortable on their own in the recovery period (and wasted money trying different types). So for a different recommendation, my experience was that that putting Vaseline on the end of my penis and wrapping it on sterile gauze swabs, then packing it into briefs, was the best solution for me.

Yeah, I tend to give myself a break every evening by doing that too, then put briefs on with no swabs to sleep in. Can I ask how long it took for sensitivity to decrease for you? And do you think the vaseline and swabs also helped decrease sensitivity?

Sometimes I think I'm wimping out by going back to swabs each evening, but I keep reminding myself I'm at nearly 6 weeks and it's still early days.

Yeah still early days. By six weeks mine had essentially healed and the extreme sensitivity had already passed by two or three weeks. However after six I still found it became uncomfortable during a full day at work or if going out for a long time at the weekend so I used the swabs then, while phasing them out at home or for shorter trips. Gradually I just knew when to remove them although I still used Vaseline for a while once I ditched the swabs altogether. I’m five months post op now and it’s great - a few things feel different and I’m getting used to that (in a good way). Sure you’ll be fine.

Yeah, so, it's 6 weeks on Friday for me. Extreme sensitivity has passed about two weeks back, I mean, it's still sensitive, but just uncomfortable rather than painful from time to time now. All healed, all stitches fallen out, so feeling pretty good there. It's reassuring to read that I'm essentially where you were around the same time in your healing process. I'm just gonna do what feels right at the time, which sounds very much like your approach.

And, the fact I'm walking around with underwear on today, when just four weeks back I couldn't wear anything really shows the progress we make.

Thanks, mate. Really great to hear a similar story from someone who's months down the line. Very reassuring.

I wish I had researched and treated my fella to some special pants but I tended to put a dressing on and wear tight briefs. Agree Vaseline was key to stopping things sticking...

Thanks for the reply. I've probably spent too much on new pants to get to these ones. Haha. How long did you stick with dressings and the briefs? Just trying to get a gauge on how long I should stick with it too, or if I should just go with with what works and trust my body to adapt as it heals.

I think 3 weeks then just tight pants. I was quite sensitive on my head for several weeks so kept up the Vaseline. Everyone is different as you say. Good luck

Relief! I didn't know if this kind of thing was okay... glad to see it is. Maybe other chaps can get some relief for their little chaps.

in the interests of fairness, big chaps also catered for👌
