7 days post op

Currently on my 7th day post op and still swollen behind the gland to the point where I can’t see the incision or stitches in that area. Underside of the gland is fine, swelling all seems to be behind the gland, anyone else have the same situation?

hi mate im having the same problem my op was 11 days ago swelling still there its a little concerning but I suppose we all heal at different different pace

That was the area that took the longest to heal for me, weeks after the rest had healed up.

how are you now? I feel like the stitches will be dissolved before I even see the incision in that area. Was it like that for you?

That was the last place for the stitches to dissolve for me along with the swelling and I thought I would be left with a lump there always but it went eventually so early days for you
