post circumsion day 17

so I’ve had my operation 17 days ago was hell with the sensitivity. Couldn’t put any clothes on with it being cold has been a nightmare! All the stitches have come out but I’m still struggling with it the sensitivity. I’ve tried Vaseline loose boxers, tight boxers but still can’t wear any clothes. With it coming to Christmas in a couple days does anyone have any ideas as I think I might be having to rearrange my plans for the holidays. Also wish I had the operation done in the summer! You have to deal with it. The sensitivity doesn’t come down instantly and without some sacrifice.

A bandage/gauze wrap with a compression wrap over it will help to some extent. That’s why doctors who know, will give you the bandage & wrap combo immediately after surgery and ask you to keep it on for 10-14 days. Second keep your penis against your torso - pointing upwards towards your belly button, trim your pubic hair (to avoid hair irritation/rubbing), and wear a snug fitting briefs or boxer briefs to keep your penis from freely moving around causing more irritation.

I found wearing tight shorts to keep it still and in position really helped. Gently introducing touch will slowly ease the sensitivity. Take Paracetamol and Ibuprofen for the pain as directed on pack.
