Tic Tac sized lump under skin near scrotum

So this morning in the shower I discovered a tic tac sized lump underneath my skin. It’s just barely noticeable running my finger over it as about 3/4 of it is under the skin ice berg style. It’s located just below the crease on the upper side of my scrotum between it and my leg. It doesn’t hurt running my finger across it but if I squeeze it it hurts. Any info on what this could be?

Could be a number of things, definitely worth seeing your doctor or sexual health clinic about. Do you cycle? It could be an internal saddle sore, I got something like that which went away by changing my saddle angle.Another option could be an infected hair follicle, or an ingrown hair. Or possibly a lymph node that's flared up for some reason.

Either way, get it checked.
