It’s been 4 days since my circumcision I asked for a tight circ but idk if it is bc I feel there’s a lot of skin in the head area. When will the swelling go down.

That swelling is the remaining inner skin and may take a while to settle down. Not that I am an expert but I think you’ll find that you have a pretty tight result when it does. Scar is fairly high too.

My swelling went down after a couple days. I’m on day 11. Doctor didn’t say to put ice on it, but I did anyway and I think that made the swelling go down a whole lot

It can take a while for the swelling to subside, especially on the underside. I think you'll end up with a pretty tight cut when everything settles out. Good luck w/ your recovery!

Do you like low cuts or high cuts better? I think high cuts are nicer.

I think this type of circumcision looks better. I know you like lower cuts better. Which is cleaner: high and tight verses low and tight? Or is the tightness the way it stays clean?

It’s many reason I think it looks better really tight and yeah it is cleaner and I would think sex feels better when your tighter

Not if it’s to tight. At one point I was the person who had extreme tightness, so I know that to tight is painful. The only advantage is that when it’s so tight you can shoot it so far lol. I remember one girl told me she felt it go into her stomach lol.

but someone who needs the extra skin because they are a major grower:

It would be better if they had a functioning penis over a completely clean penis. Some will need folds while flaccid for the penis to exist. Otherwise there could be splitting of the skin, which would make hiv more easily to transmit.

Also it is important to discriminate between scrotal skin/base of penis skin and actual shaft skin.

Just for the records. That is not swelling but lymphatic fluid that can not run off as usually from the inner foreskin due to the incision. Lymphatic vessels will grow back eventually and then all should be back to normal. High and tight usually have that „swelling“ while low and tight do not as most of the inner foreskin is removed. So this is typical for high and tight.
