I got circumcised 5 days back. And my penis head is still very sensitive. It stings even if it touches any cloth. How long until I get rid of the sting feeling completely? I can't live with this, it's making me highly depressed.

Hyper-Sensitive Penis Glans Post Circumcision - Serious Issue I guess.
It will get better as time goes on. You’re still early days. Put Vaseline on couple times a day. It helps heal stitches aswell
So I have to wait 6 weeks for this sting feel to go down? the doctor said 2 weeks max. Also when will the stitches start falling or dissolving? And how do I know when they've started to?
I'm afraid day 5 is just the start but it does get better. Give it a week or so then start introducing gentle touch to build up resilience. For me the jet from the shower played onto the head, increasing pressure and time helped then patting dry with a very soft cloth, like a fluffy dressing gown. For going out I wore tight pants to keep things still, this helped to reduce pain.
It will get better after 2 weeks to the point where you can probably do your normal activities as usual (excluding exercise). I'm now at week 3 today and I can tell you I barely feel anything, only sometimes (especially if I get an erection). Tho I'm not ready yet to do exercise or anything like that. It is still sensitive but most of the time not noticible, and it's still healing. My urologist said that I shouldn't do any sports or exercise for 4 weeks (when I was on day 13 post op so 3 more weeks). Even when I move fast, I feel that it's sensitive but nowhere near as bad as it was in the first two weeks... that was torture haha. The sensitivity will eventually settle down after 6 weeks probably almost completely. So nothing to be worried about ;).
I’m 4 months post op now and it took me almost 1 full month till I could wear clothing normally. I had to wear a cup that I customized to have more room over my Penis so I could go out in public. It was very mentally draining i know the feeling but it does get better. Keep trying to expose it to cloth while just sitting around just lay underwear on top of it and don’t move till it starts to feel better. Good luck
Ok
here is my experience
i am now just under 3 months into my recovery due to phimosis and has been very straight forward and suprisingly painless even a day after my op i was not in pain..maybe i was lucky ?
But anyhow my biggest fear was my glans and how it was going to bare up due to its new lease of life...well i read a lot about how to de sensitise from coconut oil to using medical alcohol to help dry the glans out ..i tried them all and they were crap..never worked at all.
so what did i do ?
...well i at first used undersized briefs to keep everything snug at first even when i slept this went on for about 3 weeks but i soon realised the old chap was still raw and aggressive so i decided to wear boxers and let him swing around which to be honest was a bit uncomfortable at first, as i expected...but within 2 weeks the skin on the glans had started drying out and getting used to its new surroundings i was also dipping my glans twice a day in very salty water (espresso cup) the second time after a shower where i would leave it to dry naturally while watching tv....my results have been fab i can touch my glans comfortably now , wearing cloth does not bother it at all...its time as they say is the greatest healer so true...very happy ...in summary this is something that can not be rushed..its the main part of healing and takes the longest..it takes time and will come good...trust me.
good luck and happy recovery guys.
Hey bro i got my circumcision done 3 days before. I had a very severe phimosis which i never seen my glance in my life as the foreskin is never retracted back. In terms of pain it’s very mild. But i am very very hypersensitive in the glance whenever i feel a touch down there . Even a small touch is making me scream cuz that much low sensitivity. It’s really really unbearable and making me anxious. Can you please tell me how long will this last or take to come back to normal ?
