I am 11 weeks post Circumcision, the stitches have completely gone and the Circumcision itself is completely healed. However, around the head of my penis at the bottom around the head of the penis, some parts are pink (the top of the head) and some parts are still purply, blue, (bottom) and the purply, blue areas are SERIOUSLY sensitive, to the point where I still can’t shower properly I have to hold my penis, rubbing on my ballsack feels sensitive, and clothing (sometimes) I can’t have any type of sex because it physically feels raw and sensitive it feels like it burns. I can do oral sexual activity but cannot have sex in the slightest. I need help, this has gone on far too long, I’m nearly at 3 months and still cannot have sex with my girlfriend? Saw DR at 6 weeks and he was happy with the healing process, but we’re now week 11 and still no better?

11 weeks post circumcision and still can’t have sex? TOO SENSITIVE, burning, raw feeling around helmet
Sorry to tell you man but everyone heals differently, I’m still a bit sensitive and I’m at 8th month after surgery. If you still worry, you should go check it with the doctor. But I guess it’s important to be patient.
I’m the same mate. Is there any cream or anything to help? Like I can still have sex with lube but sometimes sensitive when she giving me handy and touch around the head. I got done about 8 months ago
Yeah was going to ask if there’s any sensitive creams to use maybe? I just think it’s going to take longer than the average person because mine was never exposed from the foreskin, but will try anything that can help ease the sensitivity so I can have sex with my girlfriend, she is so so support and hasn’t complained once, but you know I’m getting tired of waiting now!
So you can’t have sex with lube? Mine isn’t that bad.
I’ll probably go to doctors soon to see if anything can help
Nope, we were going to one night and put lube all over it but putting lube on made it feel raw, sensitive feeling so we couldn’t even try doing it. Yeah, I’m thinking of going back because she can give me a hand job, because she’s not touching the head, we just need something to help us be able to have some type of gradual sex life!
Good experienced doctors would normally tell you to not masturbate for at least 7-9 weeks and wait a few more weeks after that before indulging in penetrative sex. That’s because the skin tissues around the incision scar and in your penile shaft are still healing. The nerves and blood vessels are still healing.
However, what most doctors don’t explain to their patients is that the penis head - the glans - and the rest of the newly exposed part of the penis will also slowly transform and turn dry over several months after being fully exposed.
Because the glans remain covered with foreskin they tend to be very moist and sensitive. From what your are saying it seems that your glans probably remained covered and protected by your foreskin most of the time. And now they are hyper sensitive. It’s also possible that because they are too sensitive (with thin skin) they maybe getting some abrasion or soreness from rubbing with your under clothing every time you move.
All of this will change and things will improve as the newly fully exposed part of your penis slowly dries up and gets less sensitive over the next few months - this can take a little longer for some people. But there will come a time soon when the penis will be drier but still very sensitive and you may end up getting erections from the slightest of rubbing and touching. Be patient.
Hi,
Yes I had never had my helmet exposed because my foreskin could never retract due to being so tight, so I’ve never had it pulled back at all and I’m nearly 27. So having the operation and having it exposed was massive for me. 11 weeks on nearly and it’s brilliant procedure wise, but I think like you said my sensitivity just will take longer due to never being exposed!
It will take minimum 6 months to completely heal, though it look likes healed outside. Don’t do any activity until it completely heals.
It does take time but starting to introduce gentle pressure will help the process. I found using the spray from the shower helped, gradually increasing time and pressure. Good luck
One good solution: Restore your foreskin
did you use a condom? thick condom + lube will reduce the friction on the fresh new glans
