Week 6 - advice on masturbating/sex

Hey!

I am going into week 6 after circumcision.

This past week I had an appointment to remove the remaining stitches that had not fallen out and to have a new check up. The doctor said that everything was fine (just a little swollen on the left side) and that, in a couple of days, I could go back to having sex/masturbate, but being careful and taking it easy.

Since he didn't tell me anything else, I wanted to ask if you think there is anything to take into consideration, like if it's better to masturbate first, to see how it goes, and then move on to sex. And this is going to sound weird, but can I masturbate normally as before or do I need to be particularly careful? It's just that I read somewhere not to retract the skin/ shaft and I got confused 😅

Also, do you guys think I can get a blowjob? The wound seems to be closed to me so I assume there is no risk of infection...right?

I'm just too happy that I don't need to go to the hospital again because of this, that I don't want to take any more risks.

Thank you!

I'd masturbate first. You'll have more control. Plenty of lube and no "death grip". It will be different to how it was before so take your time to explore. Give yourself a couple of hours. When you have sex for the first time it might be a good idea to wear a condom just to protect things a little bit.

The aim is to avoid swelling from internal bruising. Personally I had more intense orgasms but they took much longer. I've certainly never shot so hard than I did the first few times I did it after circumcision

Yeah, with any usual precautions you'd take (you don't say if this is with your regular partner or not - if not then bear in mind there's an increased risk of infection from blood to saliva contact if the scar opens up. Personally initially I found them a bit too intense, to the point of being uncomfortable.

I agree with the suggestions above. It is very safe and good to start with basics again and work your way up.Give a shot with masturbation and see how sensitive you are? do you feel and burning sensations at the incision area. If everything feels normal, then upgrade yourself to go little tuff with masturbation to check your limits. Coming back to sex and handjob always wear a condom atleast for 4-5 times and only involve in this activity with someone whom u can communicate to be little careful.

Hope that helps!!! Stay safe!!!!

Yea, as others have said start with masturbating. Plenty of lube and take it easy, you are going to use more of a stroke than a pull ! Using a silky material over the penis I found made a good alternative to lube. Providing it not to intense I think blow jobs where better.I would avoid your partner giving you a handjob just yet. You need to find your own limits first before letting someone else loose on your manhood.
