Anybody get scratched/nicked during circumcision?

I had circumcision about 2 yrs ago. During the operation a tiny area of the glans got nicked/scratched, and had a blood scar as typical of scratches. It healed and now that area looks nearly normal blending with the rest of the glans but if you closely look and feel the area, you can subtlely notice the scar (visually & texturally - slightly different texture from the glans but mostly smooth).

Anyhow, was just wondering how common in general does such a thing happen compared to other operational problems like issues with the stitching or the cut.

Very rare, but I'd rather have that than bad stitch marks which is relatively common

Yea, true. Do you have such examples of bad stitch marks online? For my reference.

that is why I chose no scalpel

That’s one of the reasons I went with a clamp method.
