Never ending urge of urination and problems related to that.

Hey everyone, this may be an uncommon issue but a serious one for me.

This started about couple years ago and after going to several doctors with no results I kind of got tired trying used to it unwillingly.

I always feel like going for urination and even if I am done I feel some is left at the tip of my penis, and when I push hard and get that out again I feel some is left, it’s a never ending feeling.

Rarely I get the feeling of being done urinating like I used to before this problem started and even that is after trying really hard to get all urine out.

Moreover, everytime I drink water, beer or liquid fluid like that, (milk and little more thicker juices doesn’t cause the urge) I have to go to washroom for urination immediately.

If I don’t go, it starts hurting inside(nothing crazy bt still hurts) at various places, the urination pipe, area above navel gets like really heavy and hurts(can feel my heartbeats there sometimes). Because of this feeling of urin not getting out of the tip of my penis and other pains related to that, I can’t even sleep sometimes at night for hours, and have to go to washroom several times before I sleep.

(I know it’s kind of not clear how I am trying to explain but Even I am not sure how to explain)

This has cause many problems such as not being able to masturbate as there is feeling of going to urinate or being able to get ready when I’m with a girl.

It’s caused social problems as sometimes it takes 5-6 mins in washroom just for urination.

I’m just posting here to see if someone else can relate to this problem and can guide me to have it solved.

I’ve tried going to various doctors and got some tests as well and There’s no kidney stones or any cancer or anything based on tests.

Also it doesn’t create problem on any daily activities like reduced stamina or fever or weight loss or anything.

Just the urge of urination causes difficulties to perform penis related tasks.

You cannot be expected to carry on like this. Have you had an ultrasound scan of your urinary tract? Sounds like you need one. Pester your doctor till something more gets done.

Hey thanx for replying. I wasn’t expecting any replies since it is such a weird problem.If ultrasound is what they use to check kidney stones, yes I had been through that, there was nothing unusual in the report.

They assumed it could be a kidney stone at first, so had to go through that.

I am not sure if it also includes ultrasound for Urinary tract.

Bt after living couple years like this, I’ve decided to face it find a solution now.

It messes up the self confidence.

Feel your pain fella, I’m the same, up n down during the night, get to bathroom n then can’t go just stand there for 5 minutes n then dribble, I’ve had scans, urine tests, the one where you fill your bladder they scan you then pee n they measure the amount you pee and then scan again, prostate tests, camera down my dick to look at bladder and prostate the lot, all I got was a prescription for tamsulosin. You don’t say your age so unsure if you need any prostate tests or not but my brain worth checking out. Stay positive buddy

I think the flow is better with a sit down pee. And the bathroom stays cleaner.

I have this to a lesser extent and my GP said it was a combination of age-related prostate issues (I'm 51 and overweight) and an issue with how the bladder responds to stimulation. Basically it gives you the urge to pee without actually needing to pee. For me the solution was to train myself to ignore the urge, and to also up my fluid (just water) but it's easy for me because I work from home. It's got a lot better and now I can usually sleep through the night. I'd ask to be referred to a different urologist. It looks like you have to the extent where it is manageable most of the times.I’m just 26 and considering it started few years back, I guess my problem should be something else.

One of the times my doctor gave me some pills to decrease the sensitivity or hyperactivity so that I don’t feel to pee more but it backfired cause I felt the same urge to pee but could not pee even after standing and trying hard 3-4 mins.

It was like it decreased the function of muscles that push the piss out of bladder.

Nevertheless, took a quick look on article, it looks informative, will give it a thorough reading.
