Swelling Ring

Hi Fellas. Just want to update you guys. I am now 13 weeks post op and still have swelling ring under the glans and above the scarline. It waxes and wanes but is always swollen. My surgeon says it’s edema still. He does not know why the skin hasn’t flatten out yet. I’m trying to remain hopeful and patient. Feels like the swelling won’t ever leave. It’s annoying feeling when it rubs against underwear as well.

Im on the same boat. 4 weeks post circumcision and it looks like it’s getting worse. Spoke with my Dr and said it was fluid and after doing some research it has something to do with the lymph nodes. He said if i want i can go in to drain it but gonna wait a bit before i go that route. Keep us updated, hope it goes away.

Yes that’s exactly it. Lymphedema he is calling it. I’m questioning now rather he made a proper cut or taken off enough skin. My erections feels great and it looks nice when erect but in its resting form it’s just an eye sore. I’ll keep you posted and you do the same.

did the swelling reduced on its own? i am on the same boat..but only 9 days post op
