Continuing problem

I posted a few days ago about a problem I've been having since circumcision. I've been really lucky I haven't had any major issues, everything seems to be healing nicely, and the swelling is getting less each day.

Unfortunately, I'm continuing to have a problem with randomly ejaculating during the day. I can be sitting working, or watching TV, and all of a sudden without any stimulation I'm hard and ejaculating. A couple of times now it's happened twice in one day.

I'm 33 and this has never happened to me pre-circumcision. Before being circumcised, I didn't masturbate a lot, usually maybe once a week or so, and I'm still a virgin so not like I'm missing sex while I'm recovering.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so how long did it take to stop? It's not massive problem at the moment (other than having to change my underpants) as I'm working from home, but I'm worried about future problems if and when I start working from the office again in the future.

Is it the sensitivity of your glans that is an issue?

No I don't think so - it was quite sensitive for the first few days, but I'm able to go about normally now without any problem, I can walk around the shops etc without encountering any issues. Most times when this happens I'm not actually moving, I'll be sitting on the couch or at my desk, so there's not really any friction on my glans that I can think of.

Strange. It is usually sensitivity that would cause spontaneous erections. If your libido has suddenly increased without apparent reason I wonder whether it is a hormonal issue. Might be worth investigating.

Hi, I am 32 and had my circumcision 4 weeks ago, I had the exact same problem as you. For the first 3 weeks I was having random erections sometimes as often as 6 or 7 times a day. The first 2 weeks were the worst mainly because of the pain and discomfort they caused. Especially waking up at night in pain because I got a random hard on.

Unfortunately there is not much you can do about these. From my research it seems completely normal and after week 3 they seemed to have stopped. Try not to drink water 4 hours before bed. That helped my night erections a little. It does get better especially once all the staples are gone.

No idea what is causing it. Suggest wearing a condom to help with cleanup.

It's a good idea, unfortunately I have a micropenis so the condom wouldn't stay on when soft, and there's not enough time to get it on once I realise it's happening. The cleaning is probably the least troublesome part of the problem though!
