Bleeding and Heat Sensation Post Circumcision OP - is it normal?

It’s been almost 3 weeks since I have had my circumcision. The wound looks like it healed from everywhere except for one location where I am still experiencing some bleeding from it along with this concerning strange warm/heat sensation that goes all the way to my thigh (and some pain). I have already seen three doctors (two of which are virtual and one when I went to the ER) and they all prescribed antibiotics for me and said this might be related to an infection that I have. They all advised that my surgeon will know best when I go back and see him. I already called my surgeon’s office twice to try and get an emergency appointment but he is fully booked and the closest opening he has is not for another week.

My question is can someone share if they have been through the same symptoms and if it is ok and I should continue the antibiotics or should I be doing something? I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. All the doctors that I have seen seem to not want to do anything but to give me a new dose of the same antibiotics and advise me to see the surgeon.

Hey mate don’t stress. It can take up to 6 weeks to be fully healed. Can you walk with no dramas with clothes on? The friction doesn’t hurt?

If you that worried a gp should be able to tell you. It’s not rocket science it might just be in your head

Follow the advice you have been given. Take the prescribed medication and see your surgeon as soon as you can.
