1 week into post circumcision

Hi guys,

It has been a week since my circumcision (phimosis).Both the glans and a small part above the incision swell when I stand or sit. It get painful after a while. When I lay down with the penis upright, they shrink back to normal, though the incision part is still swollen. It has gotten noticeably painful in last 2 days. Any idea why this is happening? My glans are super sensitive and have been naked and at home the entire week. Thanks for any insights.

its normal don't worry. its just the swelling i was same as you and for the glans it will get better day by day just get rest and relax

It’s been 10 days now, I visited the doctor to check on the swelling that occurrs only when I sit and stand. He mentioned the swelling was within normal range. How ever, today there was some bleeding from frenulum area while I was sitting/standing (-(along with the swelling). The bleeding has stopped now as I am lying on my back. Did anybody else face bleeding after more than a week since the op?

I cannot work until I figure this out.

wrap it with gauze and keep the area as clean as possible and never do any hardwork or exercise because it will open the wound. and if the problem persists call your doctor. wish you a speedy recovery mate.
