18 weeks post circumcision

I am 18 weeks post circumcision. There is still a very raw, wet wound where the foreskin was cut. I went back to my surgeon 2 weeks ago (16 weeks post op) and he said that it was granulation tissue and it would just take time. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and if the wound just healed and went away or if you had further treatment to heal it.

Cheers

18 weeks sounds quite long healing time, if your wound is still wet or moist. The whole incision line or just near the frenulum area? What kind of wound care routine you have had? Diabetes?

I’d say it’s about half of the incision line, one half has healed fine and the other half is taking longer. I’m still getting the yellow coloured liquid around it too. I’m currently going about day to day life as normal, with no dressings etc. Do you think any creams or dressing would help? Thank you
