Any hope recovering my length after circumcision?

I haven't posted in a while, but I just passed 9 months after my circumcision. Unfortunately, I still have not recovered my length and I have some curvature from the procedure. I noted this a while back as I watched this heal and it hasn't really improved. There was a slight improvement when the swelling went down, but that was ages ago.

On the plus side, my scar gradually improves every month. The ridges are less pronounced and smoother. My sensation is also solid and orgasms are great. My erections just feel tight and I'm 100% sure that my penis is shorter. I've been stretching the skin for 20 weeks according to my logbook to see if that helps. I haven't seen any change yet. I'm trying to keep my hopes up that this will resolve, but it's getting difficult. I'm not a person who gives up and I will certainly seek a revision if nothing changes. Anyone else take this long to recover their length?

Definitely keep stretching. A revision will only make your shaft skin tighter which will worsen your problem. Look up foreskin restoration manual methods as techniques to implement for the stretching.

Thanks, man. I guess I have to keep going. So there's no revision that can help with the scar? Like I know the penis is still there. That's apparent. It's just getting the full length to come out. I don't know what else to do beyond stretching.

You sound as if you have a perfectly functioning penis that continues to improve, particularly in the scar area. What is your penis health problem?

The problem is it's still uncomfortable with the tightness. I do acknowledge the sensitivity is good and i'm thankful for that, but it feels that the tightness is related to the reduced length. I just thought it might resolve a bit faster, and I have been stretching consistently for the past 4 months.

I really question the mental capacity of osidge at times. Your giving him your complaint of tight erections that are shorter and he says sounds like you have a good functioning penis . Anyways bro I am shorter too been 9 months and tighter erections as well it’s not fun

Yeah, I mean I get you shouldn't seek perfection in any capacity. Your penis is what it is and I could complain about how veiny it is if I wanted to, but that's never bothered me. You could always come up with something. But the simple fact is my penis is noticeably shorter and I shouldn't have to compromise on that fact. Ever. It's still there so why would I accept it being limited by tight skin. Yes, I can orgasm, but my erections are not nearly comfortable enough. I wouldn't say that's ideal in the long term. You want erections to feel good.

Also, not that this is the forum for it but I care because of how much phimosis controlled me. It elicited a control over me and nothing I ever did could fix it. I was told proper stretching would and Im the rare outlier who apparently didn't respond to diligent treatment. We're talking years of stretching. I've detailed my experience in the past, but it's part of the reason I care this much about my recovery. For once in my life, I want my penis to feel fully usable because it never has been. I'm not sure many understand what that is like because I've seen most accounts of people with phimosis and they were able to have sex. I will not compromise on a shorter penis, and I'm not gonna feel weird for that stance.

I hope yours recovers too my dude. 9 months is a LONG time, so it's not like we haven't been patient. I'm going to continue stretching and if nothing improves I've gotta call my urologist. If he blows me off, I'll have to get a second opinion.

Yeah, I thought that as well. I've been doing my stretching just like you describe in your post actually. I do 30 secs down, up, left, and right. Repeat that cycle 5 times. I've been doing that 4 months now, so I'm kind of at a loss at this point. One interesting difference is you had laser circ, right? I do know recovery is faster with that, but it shouldn't be THAT much faster.

Hi, if you want to lengthen the foreskin then penis extender would be the best. Two years back i used it for three months, 4 hours a day and it gave me half inch erect length and .75 inches in flaccid length. I just come on this platform to know circumcision experiences as i am suffering from balanities and doctor advised me to go for a circumcision. Though i am not prepare for this but even if i will go for this then i will make sure cut shouldnt be deep down. Good luck and plz read more about penis extenders.

Thanks man. I actually have one. The Phallosan Forte, which is supposed to be the most comfortable to wear. But even wearing it for 30 mins made my dick purple. I don't know how people do it correctly and I tried every sleeve and bell size I could. I mean I may try again in the future, but I could never find a solution to that problem.

Hi, i have checked your device on google and mine was almost same. Before applying device just warm up the penis by slight warm water ( wrapped the soaked towel around the P for 2-3 min). You will see it will become more elastic. Do not wear the device for longer time . Wear it for 15-20 mins only( you can also put a piece of cloth between extender between P , so that P should not slip and grip would be comfortable. then give a break for 10 -15 min and massage it without any lube and oil for blood circulation, then wear it again and repeat the same process. Initially mine was also getting purple its because of longer time and no blood circulation. Remove device immediately if you get a erection. Plz be careful about positioning the P always in right position in extender( shaft should be straight ). I did not know that earlier and mine P slightly move to left side when erect. . You will definitely see the results. Good luck. ( Train your P according to your body, never over do it bcoz it needs rest to grow otherwise you will feel its getting sore and thinner. )

Yeah, time is a big constraint here. I was able to manage bcoz those days i was at home and searching for a job. My routine was 10 to 11am( 20 min stretch and 10 min rest), 12 to 1, 3 to 4 and 5 to 6pm. You can go for less hours in a day if you have limited time, it just that you will get result bit slower. But you will definitely see the results.

I am in the same exact boat you are. Im 4 months in and doesn’t seem like there’s any improvement. Sex can be painful and sometimes the area between the head and the scar line will tear and bleed.

Best of luck to you dude. I will say I think the tearing and pain will continue to get better. I had no pain after 2 months, but if I was a little rough I could aggravate the scar line and it would hurt some. Now all of that is normalized. It's just stuck drastically shorter than it was

You're right, but between months 6 and 9 I started to get doubts. I have stayed optimistic. I might have an easier time being this patient if I didn't spend 29 years suffering with phimosis. It is what it is, right!?. I didn't choose this, but I gotta face it.

Glans is unbelievably sensitive if you have phimosis. I had moderate phimosis in that you could see the meatus (I believe it's called). But I couldn't retract at all past the halfway point of my glans either erect or flaccid. After the circumcision the head sensitivity reduces quite a bit. I'd maintain my sensitivity is great, but I also never knew what a true uncircumcised penis felt like since it was never retracted.

I had a revision and I’m in the same boat. My first surgery took about a year to come back and now with the 2nd surgery it’s been much slower. I feel like my length is under my pelvic bone but now I have a slight bend. Very annoying

Ahh man, I'm so sorry to hear that. If you don't mind, why did you get the revision? And if you said it came back the first time, then there's hope for you the 2nd time. I think the curvature is annoying as well. I know mine came from the circumcision as I had almost an abnormally straight penis before.

I had a strange pain that wouldn’t go away. I tried creams and pills and nothing worked. It was manageable until it wasn’t. The pain was on the scar line. The doctors couldn’t figure it out so they just did a revision. After my 2nd revision the pain went away but I ended up getting a hematoma under my shaft. I had to have that removed then the stitches ripped open. It had to heal on is own. I think the scar tissue caused the bending but I’ve been massaging and using scar oil to help so it’s getting better. My length has not though. I need to start stretching again

That sounds brutal, man. I'm glad they were able to resolve that with the revision at least, but I bet it was difficult to stay positive through all that. I imagine it will improve some, but I'm here wondering the same thing so I'll definitely report back if it changes.

Be careful that the “how my penis looks” does not become a fixation. That would not be good for your mental health. There comes a time following all surgeries that you just have to live with the results, knowing that you have got rid of the problem that necessitated the surgery.

This is true to a degree for me. I don't care so much about the scar line anymore or even what color my penis is. However, I won't accept a shorter penis. Especially when I wasn't warned of this as a possible side effect, yet it's the last side effect remaining. So yeah I'll do whatever it takes at this point. It feels I might need to wait a year before I consider more serious options.

Mine looks smaller when flaccid. Doesn't hang as well and mostly wants to shrink into my body which sucks. I'd say it does also look a bit smaller erect because they removed too much skin.

You can buy a foreskin restoration device on ebay, there are videos about it on Youtube. I have one already in my shopping cart in case my penis ends up shorter than it was!, but I'm only at the beginning of week 4.

The stitches are taking too long to come out though. Most of them are still there and it's painful when they get stuck to my underwear or if there's the slightest pressure from my clothes. Still not comfortable wearing jeans.
