Scab under frenulum after a month

I had a circumcision on 6th of may this year and it’s been a month since. I have a hematoma that still hasn’t gone down on the top half of my shaft and a scab that has stayed the same since I got the circumcision. Have a small suspicion that it might be open under the scab. Any tips on helping the hematoma heal or to at least keep the scab clean or any other healing tips?

Really exhausted from all of this and just wanna get back to normal life, I can’t even wear underwear cause a small part of glans are still so sensitive.

Hi. Recovery from any surgery can bring both unexpected and tiresome problems. The scab will be doing its job of protecting new tissue growth and should detach itself when that process is ended. If the haematoma does not disappear you could get a nurse or a doctor to drain it. I hope that all resolves soon for you - including that sensitivity. Take care.

Don't disturb the scab. Healing takes time, let it do its job. Gonna have to be a little more patient buddy. Also, I'd 100% recommend to try and wear an underwear that fits snug. I was scared too because of the sensitivity, but for me it just hurt for like 2 seconds while wearing it and then nothing after that. It felt way more easier to walk around.

Hey man I’m in the same situation. I have a scab that’s yellow and black around frenulum area. I also am feeling mentally drained from all this. I recommend david archy men’s underwear they are thin and have pouch area. I also wrap it with some soft cloth I cut pieces from underwear or t shirt. It works will if you wrap like a burrito and then put the david archy underwear on. Mine is also extremely sensitive and I can’t really do anything unless I have it wrapped like that. Been 9 days and still a good amount of sensitivity and pains.

How is it now? I’m on day 22 and scab still in the frenulum area, seems a little better but not much

It’s totally gone and healed. Still have some swelling from hematoma but everything else is good and I’m back to pretty much normal life
