Open wound under frenulum; 3 weeks after circumcision

I was circumcised 3 weeks ago; I have an open wound under the frenulum; I dont have any pain but I am worry; My doctor said it is normal and this takes more time for healing; Does anyone have same problem and can tell me how long it takes for closing and healing? Any recommendation for allow to heal quicker?

Yep, frenulum area will heal last. What kind of wound care is your daily routine now? Do use any gauze on it?

I did apply medical honey ointment to open wound area.

I am just cleaning carefully with water and soap when I am taking a shower daily. How long did it take to heal in your caee?

My wound healed "close" on 31st day post-op and not drained anymore, but healing took more time than that.

These came off by them selves by day 15

I have a appointment on doctor after 3 or 2 weeks for revised my skin and wound any advice to not open again

I also had similar issue for quite a long while as stitches had opened.. Medi Honey really helped as suggested by s2bc. I am still healing but wound has closed and new skin has formed ..best wishes to you for a quick recovery

Hi, I am fully healed; it took 8 weeks to fully heal; After week 5 I started applying medical honey and madecassol which I believe help to close the open wound
