Have only got a couple of stitches left and have no pain at all but still looks sore and weeps so wondered if this is normal or if anyone has any advice to help heal more quickly. About a 1 cm gap has opened all the way around from the new edge to the scar line.

What do you mean by "weeps"? If its 3 weeks, then it seems like you healed pretty rapidly. I would however things by the doc, esp. the gap.
