My circumcision wound can be opened and closed

It's been 2 weeks since I've had my circumcision done. I got a midnight erection and it feels abit pain, but bearable. In the morning I when I go to the toilet to pee, I saw that one of the wounds can be seen open, it became a skin that I can open and close it.Like a open wound. And I also saw blood on that same area, anybody can help? I will see a doctor soon.

That can happen, when a person not support the wound edges before they are healed enough. You are not the only one.

You can support that area with a strip of skin adhesive tape and petroleum jelly or some non- adherent dressing.

The skin will now heal by secondary intention (healing).

It does take a while sometimes, just be patient with it and try not to mess with it too much. A lot of blood gets pumped to that area, so every little nick can result in what feels like really heavy bleeding. Mine bled and clotted quite a bit to begin with.

But after a couple of patient weeks, it was fine. It takes a couple of months before you can really properly use it though!
