I’ve been leaving my foreskin back to keep from getting red spots on penis head. It is dry and cracked is that expected after getting circumcision? That sucks if so

After circumcision having a very dry glans penis if normal. Half of my pain came from the glans being very dry, and it was scaling.Keep it moist, use lubricants like petroleum jelly (vaseline)... that should help. It might take couple of days for it to go away...

It’s not too late to cancel the circumcision. If you’re only getting it done due to moisture retention why not pull your foreskin back when peeing and wipe it dry when finished? Have you explored all your options or do you really want circumcised. It sounds like you’re having second thoughts. Moisturise you glans and pull your foreskin forward before it’s too late. Think about it because once it’s done there’s no going back. I may need to be circumcised but I really don’t want to. After reading things on this forum i will try anything to avoid it. I love my foreskin and the sensation I get from it I’m not prepared to lose this unless I have tried every other option. The stories of the nhs urologist that don’t care of the outcome etc. Where I stay the cheapest private circumcision clinic will charge about £2500.00.
