Circumcision, frenulectomy, and vasectomy - all at once - this Friday!!

Big day for me this Friday (Dec 18) - having all this work done at once!

Anyone else had a vasectomy with a circumcision??

I just had a vasectomy and circumcision done last Thursday! Went better than expected. You’ll be glad you’re doing it all at once!

Vasectomy was always planned (2 beautiful kids, I’m good) and during my first consultation with urologist, I discussed foreskin concerns I had: light phimosis and adhesions to the base of the glans that had me worried. I would try to pull adhesions off and would cause bruising, pain, etc on the glans. Tried a steroid ointment for a few weeks but doctor pretty much said I might get temporary relief but not a permanent solution. Circumcision was the only option. So while I never necessarily considered a circumcision, the ability to do it all at once made it appealing. Was under general anesthesia. Very minimal post-op pain, combination of vasectomy soreness and just some swelling mostly on the penis. Definitely easier than I expected.

My biggest concern was what to wear: jockstrap (recommended for V) or loose (recommended for C). I opted for loose and have felt comfortable- unfortunate jockstrap just felt irritative to my penis.

Feel free to reach out to chat more - happy to give some insight. Be confident that everything will be just fine! Glad I did it. 6 days post now and worst is nighttime erections (those are real and uncomfortable!) and nuts get sore after a while (general discomfort). Frozen peas help a lot!

Wow - great advice, thank you!Sounds very similar to me!

I actually went in with foreskin concerns initially - frenulum is very tight and almost rips sometimes, plus foreskin gets puffy and inflamed after sex or masturbating a lot. Red skin!

So I also tried the cream - but that didn’t change much.

When I returned, my wife suggested I also ask about vasectomy - and Doc said he often does both together! So there we go!

I am also worried about nighttime erections - as I know I get them all the time!

I’ve also asked for a very high and tight circumcision - as I love that look.
