Post circ erection

I know this has been covered a d everyone’s different but I would like some feedback. I’m 45 days post surgery and in my opinion healing is going well no abnormal swelling but I’m literally atleast 2 inches or more small in length. Girth is the same and I got a loose circ which doesn’t make sense. When did everyone return to normal size or is this even that normal?

I’m only 10 days post op but I agree with what you say, I’ve noticed a big difference already. I’ve heard people saying that around the 3 month mark their scar settled giving them more movement. As yours if loose all I can think it that you have some blood vessels cauterised or tied off which had probably upset the blood flow, maybe this might cause a temporary shortening? Not sure tho but it seems to happen with a lot of people and it resolves itself so I wouldn’t stress

Thanks trying not to stress and hopefully it normalized as if the process wasn’t bad enough then you find out your smaller lol

That was my exact reaction today when I have my first proper look at my erection 😂 I didn’t have much to loose in the first place!

They really should warn you of this. Instead they say it’s not possible

Hi Mickey, you do not lose any length in a circumcision. What they do need to be telling people is that patience is a virtue and that healing times for the full penis are often a lot longer than 6 weeks or so. There is a lot inside it that you cannot see that needs to heal. We have had some guys that are still healing at 1 year!

I feel like no doctor discusses this

Regrettably, most doctors are too busy to tell you everything and, to be fair, many patients would be too bored to listen if they did!

No actual length is removed in circumcision. However the swelling causes the penis to appear shorter than it actually is. True length will re-appear in due course when all the swelling has gone.

I know everyone is different but how many months are we talking typically?

The average teen or adult circumcision takes 6-8 weeks to fully heal, but some deep swelling may continue for a few more months.
