Post Circumcision Bruising / Swelling

I am now on day 7 into 8 of my circumcision and all is going well. I have a fair bit of bruising/swelling underneath the cut below the glans to halfway down the shaft, I am not concerned as it only hurts during erection but I was just wondering how long anyone else may have experienced this for before it started to subside as I’ve seen many things all over the place. Also does anyone have any recommendations on how to help the bruising or swelling go down over time

The bruising and swelling will take the time that it needs to subside. Every guy is different do patience is where it’s at.

Bruising and swelling tends to increase during the first two weeks and reduce thereafter. However, everyone is different and it will take as long as it takes! However it WILL reduce soon.

Okay thank you for reassurance, I’m not concerned by it was just wondering what sort of time I should expect and I’m now entering my second week so hoping it well underway

The bruising discoloration will take about 4 weeks to go away fully. The swelling will be there for a while.. You will gradually see the swelling go down over the next 12 weeks.. It will take time but the 4-6 month mark you will probably be feeling good about how things look but at 8 months to 1 year you will see a dramatic improvement and this will be considered your final outcome.
