I am a male aged 55 years of age and up until about a year ago, I experienced no foreskin problems at all.
For nearly a year now, I have been unable to retract my foreskin, so I can clean my penis whilst showering.
My penis is not swollen, sore or hurts in any way at all, it just will not retract.
I have not been to see a doctor because despite my age, I would still find the experience of discussing the matter with him/her, embarrassing.
Has anybody experienced similar problems and maybe have some tips/hints for me to try?
Many Thanks..

You need to get over your embarrassment and see a doctor. Without knowing what is causing the problem it is impossible to know what the solution is for you. A solution guessed at could make your problem worse. It is highly unlikely that the doctor has never seen a patient’s penis.
Hi, yes I'm 54 and had the same problem. Sounds like you have Phimosis. It can occasionally get better with Steroid Creams but usually the only cure is circumcision. I had mine done 4 weeks ago so if you need any advice drop me a line. Happy to chat. Craig.
I had that until my early 20's then I read an article or somewhere (well before the internet). Try putting your two forefingers inside the end of the foreskin and stetch it a little day by day without overding it. It took about a week or so but one day I could retract it, felt a bit strange at first. Like raw meat! but then you have the choice how to wear your hoodie up or down. Makes masturbation more pleasurable.
