Open wound

32 days post circumcision and I think I have an open wound where the stitches were on the glands. Peeing makes it burn. Will it close up on its own? Please let me know.

I am at day 18 and have experienced bleeding but nothing that I would consider an open wound.

Jump on that phone man and speak to your Dr asap.

I did yesterday. He said it is from the stitches and will heal. It’s just annoying. I’m not bleeding or anything

Cool. Its good to get proper medical advice.

My Dr said a full 6 weeks to heal and 3 months do be fully recovered - if that helps.

My wound was also almost completely open and inflammated. Doctor recommended Iso-betadine gel (10%), it's healing really well now

I’ll check it out. I’m actually feeling better. Few burns here and there but nothing to bad. I’m just dealing with a hematoma now 🤦🏻‍♂️

I seem to be undergoing similar issue what you have described hence wanted to know how you resolved the open wound. I am at week 4 now and there is a small area where stitches had broken and is still open. Doc says it has accumulated slough or lymph and has cleaned it .. Was somewhat painful .. Not sure how soon the ends will close..

Did you mean the healing ointment available on Amazon.com ?? Just googled .. If yes then how did it help in closing the open wound.. I mean did you apply it inside the wound ?

Its a healing ointment. Just rub it on the open wound and let it do it’s thing

You can buy it at any store. Just be patient. It will get better
