Swelling on shaft post cIrcumcision (14 days)

I am 26 years old and had undergone circumcision 14 days ago due to phimosis. There had been a few cases of minor bleeding which was not a surprise given the fact that I am browsing this portal frequently.

There is unusual swelling on the shaft which has increased now and is concerning me. Is it normal? Will it go by itself? Should I apply antibiotic cream on it?

Swelling is to be expected for several weeks after circumcision.

Yours still looks better... I have similar swelling under & there is ring like swelling...

Swelling takes time-had same issue. It is normal-let time help, If problem urinating see Dr

Yes of course, apply antibiotics regularly.both ointment n tablets. My case was better than you. Now after 5 weeks, it is almost ok

Thanks everyone, 5 days have passed now (18th day today) and the swelling has reduced. Looks like it will go away but slowly.

Hey there man. Did the swelling go away on its own or what did you do or take to heal from it? I have it just like yours, it is below the stitches on the back right side. It does not hurt, just inflamed.

It went away on its own, I had to be patient though.
