13 days post op, two stitches broke and quite a big hole

Hello all,

I have been circumcised and 13 days post op. Two of the stitches at the bottom have come off and now it has reopened. I have no pain with it or blood. I went to the doctors today and they took a swab so waiting for that, however they said it didn’t look infected but it’s better to be safe than sorry. They said there is nothing they can do and re stitching would not help as I had a tight foreskin before so it would just be tight again...

I am still worried about it as it doesn’t seem to be healing but the rest of it is fine! Anyone had the same problem and was it fine after? How long did it take to heal? And also will it be ugly as fuck??

Any help would be appreciated!!

am having the same problem and my doctor said i should just be patient and wait for the wound to heal on its own. am on 14 day past my OP.

i guess we have to wait bro and keep the wound clean to avoid infection

Could you guys post an update on the healing process? The same exact thing has happened to me, and then some and I'm getting pretty worried too.

i have healed completely mate last night i even had sex although i had to use a condom since am in my fourth week.i felt no pain after sex and all seems to be okay.

dont worry just give it time it will heal

I seem to have similar issue. Just been circumcised for phimosis bxo. I had shaft skin sewn further up underneath gland removing the bad skin. I’m day 5 after and I notice a cut in one side underneath the skin . Stressing me out as I don’t know if a stitch is missing . I’m also concerned that skin will keep cutting once it heals . Anyone had anything similar

Lads sorry for the late reply, just wanted to pop in and say that everything is all good now, healed up pretty quickly! Just have a bigger scar than I thought but nothing to bad! Just don’t stress out too much let your self time to heal! All the best fellas
