so I started the warm water soaks about a week ago after skin between the stitches seemed fully healed.
several stitches were loose and not coming off. so I disinfected a pin and untied all the stitches and pulled them out.
so now I am left with a fully healed circumcision and no pain other than the general soreness around the incision area.
even though the swelling had reduced significantly, I am still having a couple of blister like things under the V cut under the frenulum on the outer foreskin.
also the inner foreskin under the V cut is still significantly swollen.
what's the best way to reduce swelling now? wrapping it up in tissue and wearing tight underwear gives a real snug fit and squeezes the penis under office pants which really helps the swelling go away but once I am off undies the swelling returns.

Hey glad to hear the soak worked. For swelling i would use ice in 15 minute intervals with a cloth between the ice and you. In addition to that try taking an anti inflammatory medication like ibuprofen for about a week or 2. Just take 1 a day just to help it along. That's the only advice i can give for now without overstepping my scope of knowledge.
It's perfectly fine. Take it in low mg. It's not like taking tramadol or anything of the such. It is good for bringing down inflammation. It is one of the most basic medications. If you are worried about it just speak with your doc or a pharmacist and they will most likely tell you the same thing. I am NOT a doctor i am only speaking from many years of experience and information. The highest level of medical certs i have reached is NREMT and TCCC from the uscg. i only know about the basics.
