The head is sensitive so it’s okay. Personal experience, I lasted one day having my foreskin pulled back.. but it’s totally up to you to keep yours pulled back. With time, the penis head decreases sensitivity :)

The more your glans is exposed to everyday touch from clothing, your hand, wash cloths, etc. the faster your brain can 'tune out' this everyday contact as it does for the rest of your skin.

Go for it! I cant keep mine pulled back as it just glides back forward on its own. Would be good to be able to keep it pulled back though.

I have the same issue.

I find if im lay on my back it stays pulled back when erect, but it doesnt take much movement for it to go back forward itself. It is what it is i suppose :)

in reply to

I think am lucky, mine fully retracts when erect without needing any help. When flaccid the glans is almost completely covered.

in reply to

Yeah, same here. Apart from when erect i can still pull my foreskin more or less all the way forward.

The more you leave the foreskin retracted the less sensitive it will become. I personally wanted get rid of the over sensitivity as it makes sex a more pleasurable (and longer lasting) experience. I also much prefer the look and general feel of the exposed glans.

If you do decide to keep it pulled back, just be careful of swelling of the foreskin. If this happens recover and wait for the swelling to go down. This is really important as you could cause serious problems if you don’t.

There is lots of info out there. Try pulledback.org where there are lots of guys sharing their experiences and tips to help keep the skin back.

If the foreskin continues to get tight when below the gland then get to an emergency room for possible paraphimosis.

I’m one of the lucky ones who can keep his foreskin back for long periods of time if I want to. The reason yours is sensitive is because (and guys forget this!) being uncut your glans is an internal organ and used to being covered when not in use. The intact glans is soft and pink and it will take a while for it to “toughen up” by leaving it retracted. Also, don’t forget, your actual penis itself will determine whether you can keep it back. I have a short foreskin naturally and very pronounced glans head which is bigger than my shaft so my skin stays back really easy. If you have a long foreskin or a small glans it simply rolls back into place.
