Went for my follow up appointment for my circumcision, doc said I didnt need to put anything on it, he said I'm ahead of the healing process but I still feel I should put some oil/ointment for the scars. Any suggestions?.

To be frank nothing is necessary but lots of people noticed that applying moisturiser over the shaft of the penis can help loosen the skin . It can also help to keep from drying out . Also once your incision site has dried out and there's no more swelling left , you can just use Bio oil on the scar to lighten it a little. Whatever you use just make sure that theres no chemicals and no perfumes added to it ! All the best !

I used bacatracin for the first two weeks and after that I put nothing on it. My doc said not to use any oil or vitamin e or anything. He said the body will heal it on its own. Mine healed just fine so I think you should follow that advice and not apply anything
