One month remaining

I am 40 and getting a Circumcision in one month exactly. I developed a tight foreskin back in my thirties but had been avoiding getting Circumcised, any pre-post/op advice is welcome.

There is nothing much to do other than clean shave the area. Obviously get a good blade even if it's costly and clean shave the scrotum testicular and inner thigh areas 2 to 3 days before the op . Get all your blood work done too . If you have any co morbid conditions let ur doc know however small u consider it to be . Even if it's in your family . Take care not to develop any infections . Don't get too stressed Abt the op . Other than the injection which lasts for mere seconds you won't feel much.

Post op : you might wanna take 2 weeks off from work definitely.Get someone to take you to the hospi and back to home on the day itself. If you have no loose towels(soft and light ones) for the initial few days , get them .You might wanna get a good moisturiser for the head post op. I used Vaseline peroleum jelly for the head and bio oil for the scar . Analgesics will be given mostly and even if is not pain isn't too much in my opinion .Follow ups with your doc are super imp. Bath twice a day with warm water and you can use salt water too . Other than that take care of the incision site and enjoy.
