Bleeding after circumcision

1st day following my circumcision and I am still bleeding. Not gushing blood but when I apply kitchen towel to cover it it will come off later with a puddle of red damp. Will this heal up naturally? If not what can I do to help?

You are only one day into healing and some blood is to be extremely extend. If this worries you, consult a doctor.

That is completely normal. I was bleeding even weeks after the procedure, don’t worry. I would suggest you to apply a piece of gouze around your penis if you are planning on going out for a walk or something. That way you won’t get your underwear dirty and you will prevent the friction on your penis being too painful.

Hi, thanks guys. My other issue is urination - currently my urine sprays in multiple directions.

I noticed that every time I have some sort of buildup of membrane in the hole where urine comes from, sometimes I am able to gently wipe it out using toilet tissue but it keeps coming back.

Is this normal? As I think that is what’s causing my urine stream to be split

Try using a non adhesive pad to avoid the tissue sticking and pulling scab off.

The urine spray is quite common. I found a little shake had me back in line and would sit down as much as possible when weeing.

Clean with water and pat or air dry.

Thanks people, good news it’s corrected itself and stream is stronger than before. Sitting down definitely worked

Another problem now - day 8 and almost all my stitches are either come off (either pulled off by Vaseline or dissolved in salt water bath) or loose leaving the penis more open on one side. It still looks attached though, like there is very small amount of bleeding. Will this heal?
