Hi Man, sorry to hear that about your problem Man try to keep your spirits up and keep moving forward. it sounds as though you have lichen sclerosus or BXO on your glans after having a circumcision it should improve after the surgery but it can take time you will need to have regular check up make sure you keep them and consult with your GP if you have any concerns even if it's just to talk about things. has your urologist prescribed some steroid cream to use this should help. You may also need to be referred to a specialist urologist who deals with lichen sclerosus.
Hi Mac, just a couple of questions... do you still have regular check ups with your doctor or just keep an eye on things yourself..? Do you feel the LS experience has had any long term psychological affects regarding sex and general confidence, or do you now just see it as a thing of the past..? All the best..
Hey Man, no check ups anymore i just keep an eye on it myself. I can't say it doesn't affect you psychologically it can be a difficult time dealing with it. it doesn't affect me sexually or with my confidence I feel I am more confident now being circumcised. it is something that is in the past but it's not something you would sweep under the mat and forget about it was a major changing point in my life physically and probably mentally.
Hi man, I don't quite understand. Has the shaft skin been stitched to the bottom of the glans for this? It can be sorted with further surgery by a specialist, I had a disastrous circumcision sorted at the Birmingham Circumcision Centre and will thank them to my dying day. Good luck.
