I only waited 3 weeks. That was only due to my recovery being remarkably quick! I had my surgery on 7th Jan 2020 and I sometimes forget I even had it as I've healed so quickly and everything feels normal already.

I'm not advocating only waiting 3 weeks before anyone jumps in, you asked how long i waited so I've told you.

And as for tips I'd just say lube and take it easy mate!

I waited 8 weeks, better to be safe then sorry, I mean after all if anything was to go wrong I didn’t want long term effects because of it
