Looks good, how the pain level? Played with it yet?

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toJohn12123

Ive been pain free since day 9. Sensitivity went down alot since like day 10/11 so Ive been walking normally ever since ! And yes I sucummbed yesterday and masturbated really gently for the first time, felt amazing, maybe the slightest bit tight but I barley noticed it. Gonna go back to no fun till week 3 tho just in case, dont wanna test my luck.

in reply toMyNameIs787

Great that you have healed so well. Feel free to post further questions if you have a problem.

Has the color been always red even before the surgery at certain spots?

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toJohn12123

Yep, it was a lot worse before circumsision, Ive been battling balanitis on and off for years thats why I got the procedure. The red spots were a bit bad even the day I had the operation but its healed a lot my doc was really suprised.

Have you tired creams before? Are you putting anything on now?

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toJohn12123

A bunch of different creams before, all antifungal and some antibiotic. Some of them worked but the symptoms always came back after some time and some creams never worked. Seeing definite improvement in my symptoms after circumsision. Not taking any creams now tho.

John12123 profile image
John12123 in reply toMyNameIs787

Did you use steroid creams too?

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toJohn12123

Yep normal steroid cream using them with the other ones and even one antifungal that had steroid cream in it.

Got it. Keep us posted on your status in the next couple weeks. Been battling with the same condition as you

For sure I'll definetly post an update on week 3

Did you ever get tested for diabetes or candida? Biopsy or a scrape?

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toMyNameIs787

I had a similar experience. Finally got tired of the creams and went for the cut. Absolutely no regrets!

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toxhardwarex

How long did it take after the cut for the head of your penis to be 100% normal? 🤔

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toMyNameIs787

Wow - it's been over two years now... I want to say it took a solid 4 months to really get 100% normal. You look a LOT better than I did at this point in recovery though.

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toxhardwarex

It does not look this good all the time tho tbh, sometimes it gets pretty wrinkly or a darker shade of red. Usually goes away after a bit of time and it starts looking like the pic again . Kinda feel like im gonna fuck it up tho my libido is starting to rise to high levels lol, im trying to keep my erections at a minimum till atleast week 3 but I have failed the last couple days. Fingers crossed I can pull it off.

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toMyNameIs787

Well, I'm mostly talking about the healing of the cut. That looks amazing for 15 days and you certainly have less swelling that I did at that point. Good luck moving forward!

John12123 profile image
John12123 in reply toxhardwarex

Did you apply anything to make it heal or you just let it air our for 4 months? How was the healing process like?

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toJohn12123

No - I didn't apply anything - just let it air out. No photos to share - sorry. I've got a higher cut than 787 - about 2.5 cm of inner skin. That took longer to really settle out in terms of swelling. Also, the cut line seemed to 'adhere' to my shaft for several months - so I'd grow normally below the cut, but I could tell I wasn't expanding fully above it. That also took some time before it released and let me grow fully both above and below. Overall, I had a pretty uneventful recovery, but as I was sutured rather than glued, I don't have as nice a cosmetic result, however it isn't what I'd call bad either.

How's sensitivity before and after? Did you keep your frenelum?

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toCuriousQ

Sensitivity was great before and still is (over 2 years on). Sex is in no way, shape, or form worse than before to me. I had my frenulum removed at my request. Looks better IMO.

CuriousQ profile image
CuriousQ in reply toxhardwarex

Interesting. You don't miss your frenelum at all? You don't last longer in bed? Would you say your inner foreskin is sensitive and gives you pleasure?

Is glue more expensive? Why don't most doctors use it. It seems to be important to minimizing scarring.

John12123 profile image
John12123 in reply toxhardwarex

Curious how the healing turned out and what I should expect

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toJohn12123

No pics. IMO it turned out well. Not as well as many folks here, as I had stitches rather than glue, but overall I'm happy with it. Biggest thing is don't get in too big of a hurry for the final result. It does take some time.

Its been one year for me and still swollen and been dealing with balantis. Seen many doctors and they don't know why it hasn't heal and I am still swollen

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toJohn12123

Wow - that's a little odd. My balanitis basically disappeared once I was cut.

Pretty interesting story you have here, would love to hear more on how the healing process was in detail, day to day, week to week, what did you do help and what made it worst? I just recently got cut and been dealing with the same condition. Would love to hear your advice and how I can make a full recovery.

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toxhardwarex

How long did your balalintis take to clear up after the circumcision? Mine was healing really well till this week I went back to uni and I assume all the walking started to fuck up my skin a little again.

xhardwarex profile image
xhardwarex in reply toMyNameIs787

I didn't have any going on when I got cut, and haven't had any since.

in reply toJohn12123

I’m so sorry to hear that John, it must be very uncomfortable for you. Have you tried anything to help accelerate the healing process?

Excellent , you had a good surgeon

Hi man looks great! Did you have a partial circ or is that a full one? I’m not too clued up! Been offered a partial circ through the nhs but I don’t know weather to get a full one.

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787 in reply toTurkey4xmas

Yea tried creams and stretching but had no luck

CuriousQ profile image
CuriousQ in reply toTurkey4xmas

I'd say go for partial and if it doesn't work go for the full one. But discuss it with your doctor. Also discuss the different styles like high vs low.

Tbh I did have a really tight forskin when I restracted it while erect but that was the least of my corncerns at the time. Me and my doc were focused on treating the balanitis.

MyNameIs787 profile image
MyNameIs787

When I was flacid it was normal, it did affect me while masturbating tho I could never really retract my foreskin all the way down while doing it, maybe like 30 % to 40% of the way down and it got tight . I assume it was just a case of phimosis maybe? I really dont know I never talked about it with my doc.

Dr. Anibal Carlo Garcia, and to be compleatly honest I have no idea what method was used for my circumsicion, at the time I never asked I was just focused on finally getting done with my balanitis.

Beautifully exposed glans! Nicely healed circular scar. Your surgeon did an excellent job of removing your foreskin. Thank you for posting.

You’re healing nicely. It will take around a year until the incision line looks “normal “

How come your scar is so minimal even only 15 days in? Mine's 6 months in several times thicker than yours. It's almost like my doctor cut into my skin forming a really thick, raised scar. Did you use stitches?
