When the frenulum is removed tissue is cut, this could cause a shortening of the penis, unless they leave enough shaft skin. Also if you had phimosis, then what could happen is that the tissue is forced to expand at the base of your penis/pubic fat region, which would make it appear that you have more shaft skin and foreskin than you actually have. So the doctor may misinterpret you having more tissue than you actually have. This then causes all the actual foreskin and shaft skin to be removed. What you would be left with is a penis, which appears to have shaft skin on it, but the tissue is really expanded pubic fat/base of penis tissue, which could also lead to a shortening of the penis.
Peter is a great example of someone who had his frenulum removed, but still maintained length because he has actual shaft skin remaining on his penis. But even if you didn’t have actual shaft skin on your shaft, the frenulum would not allow you to lose length. I wonder if reattaching the frenulum could be helpful for those who lose significant length.
my penis became at least 2 inches shorter after god damn circumcision. i had surgery about one and half month ago and still no change. i am devastated to think i will not get my penis back and also erection is very painful because of this
