I am a grower not shower and around 4in flaccid and 6 in erect . I feel like I am healing well but as others have stated it is now measuring at 5in erect but my circumference is thicker . I am hoping like others stated that length will slowly come back as skin stretches . Have a little swelling still on one side but other than that I think going good !

Looks good for 15 days, mine took 14 to heal, but far longer to smooth out where the scar is, give it another few weeks, any swelling will disappear & it will get better more slowly from then on, mine was over 3 years ago, now, continued to change up until about 18 months ago.

How was your circumcision done by, laser or scalpel? Also did they use glue or stiches ?

Scalpel and stitches but he said he uses stitches that are 25% smaller than most drs. I can attest they were very small . Most fell out after ten days when I removed bandage in the tub but I did have to pull a few out and they were extremely thin.

For 15 days post-circumcision your healing rather well.

if you were circumcised for phimosis, then it would make sense why you lost length; because if the foreskin is not retractable, then the skin at the base of the penis would be forced to expand in order to accommodate an erection with an un-retractable foreskin. The doctor would then remove the foreskin, but would likely think that the man had more foreskin than they actually had. The doctor would then remove all the foreskin and all the shaft skin, which would leave the man with pubic fat/base of penis tissue, which the doctor thought was shaft skin. It would completely depend on how tight the circumcision ended up being. Doctors are not thinking of this possibility. In addition removal of the frenulum could also cause a shortening of the penis as well because the frenulum forces the tissue forward whether there is enough tissue or not. Shaft skin starts where the hair baring skin ends. Doctors need to be more careful when doing circumcisions on individuals who have phimosis. They should only give them partial circumcisions because I have seen far to many men lose length because of this. The length may come back naturally, but you may have to do foreskin restoration techniques to obtain your original length back.
