Dissolve sutures faster?

I'm 5 weeks post-op and healing very nicely. My incision has healed very well, and I've been masturbating gently for about 2 weeks. Almost all of the sutures have absorbed/fallen out, but there are still about 6-7 of them left and it's becoming increasingly frustrating. With my doc's permission, I started soaking daily in warm water, but I'm not sure that helped them dissolve any faster. Anybody know a safe way to speed up this process?

Stitches do not simply dissolve in water. It’s reaction of enzymes in your body tissue that absorbs the internal part of the stitch and eventually the external part (knot) drops off. Mine took five weeks as did those of many others according to posts on here.

Stiches disolve according to your body ability to heal , they get rejected once the skin heals by your body . there’s nothing you can do to make this faster other than no smoking , taking 2000mg per day of Vit C for a week and wait .
