Its challenging to not worry at this stage. I recall the first time I tried, things didn't go soo well for me either.

Thing is you have unlearn your old impulses and relearn how things work now. That takes time.

I am disheartened. I don't want to spoil life of any girl. I don't have much time just one month.. how did u manage and when did u start having ejaculation after circumcision

Plus I feel size has gone down as well. I think they removed excess skin and it feels something is holding back and look at that pink band. Can u tell.me what this pink band is when will it go away

Different feelings and size reduction is common in the first couple weeks.

You are only 5 weeks along. There is a reason why the doctors recommend 6-8 weeks. By then most of the problems that we have get resolved by then.

The pink band is your inner foreskin bro, it's normal and not going to go away but you have a great looking dick. She's going to be happy!

After circumcision most of the sensation come from the Corona . Try using condom and see how it goes . Might be phycologically

hello , about what you said : "After circumcision most of the sensation come from the Corona" , where did the sensation used to come from before circumcision?

Vaseline is too thick and greasy and will certainly numb sensations. Use a water based lubricant or oil based one made for sex

May be psychological, you body has been through a bit of trauma. Relax, take your time. Your method will have to adapt to the new 'you'. Coconut oil is a good lube.

You will be fine, cicumsized 5 years ago and have no trouble ejaculating. It feels different so will take some time to get used to it. Just practice lots

Sorry to hear about your ejaculation concerns. But your circumcision appears to have healed well. Looks FANTASTIC!

Circumcision does not make your penis smaller - that is a myth.

Looks and feels smaller. Also when masturbating hand travels shorter distance now. Can't keep erection.

Don't worry. Anxiety is the' downfall' of most ED problems. Relax and enjoy. The first ejaculation after circ is worth it.

So, how did you get on Bro? Jerking a cut cock is very different to sex with a cut cock, hope it's all good and you're BOTH happy with it now.

I am very sorry to tell you that your condition is permanent, and the sensation in your glans will lessen over time equalling even less feeling. This is because foreskin contains 80% of the nerve endings, he destroyed your frenulum and the very tip of your foreskin which was the Ridgid band also known as Taylor's ridges. He left you a minimal amount of inner mucosal tissue. I am truly sorry, this was done to me is an infant so I understand the damage. They sell $20 stretching devices, along with a little hydrocortisone cream and a couple months and you could have avoided surgery all together. This surgery is the greatest injury you could possibly give to a man. For you it's worse, knowing what you lost. Educate others on your experience. I'm sure your doctor is very dismissive and says it's going to come back but he's full of s***. if you go back again he will tell you it's all in your mind and you will send you out with a psychiatric referral. He won't say you lost function because he destroyed the nerve center of your penis in the Frenulum/Ridged Band

I've been educating on this topic for 25 years and I hear tragic cases like yours every single day with the style of cutting they do. I educate new parents so they don't mutilate they're healthy infants, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder but pleasure is in the mind of the owner. Your wife would not allow her fore skin to be removed for you. Tell her you want her circumcised and labia trimmed. It's the latest plastic surgery for women. She'll talk about how her vagina is beautiful and all vaginas look beautiful blah blah blah, but it doesn't apply to men for some reason. It's truly the greatest sexist thing you could imagine. Dick is dirty??? I'm no, we have running water, and your dick doesn't bleed monthly and have all kinds of secretions dripping out of it and covering it like women, but we happily put our faces down there because we were not brainwashed into thinking woman's parts need cutting and have extra skin. What you lost isn't skin it's 80% of your nerve endings and 3 ft of veins and the artery to the underside of your penis known as the frenular artery. You're also now dependent on artificial lubrication to masturbate, and yes as you heard if you do regain your ability to climax it will likely take you 20 minutes by hand and not possible with intercourse based on what I've already heard of your story. If you can't ejaculate, it's because he cut out your Frenulum. It's truly a crime what was done to you and I would try to sue mention how he did not educate you on the well known loss of sensation. For an anatomy lesson read the sorrells study from the British journal of urology

I am one of those guys. I would give anything to have a foreskin again. I was cut at 32, long story, but i regret the decision every damn day.

Just give it time I’m pretty sure it will happen. The same happened to me and I was so disappointed. After about 8 or 9 weeks I returned to my usual self. Hang in there. Things will flow again.

Don't panic.

It took me like 3 months to heal. Recovering from circumcision isn't something you bounce back from. After that, things start getting back to normal. Remember, the inner foreskin has to heal also. Once things settle, you'll be right as rain.

It may be quicker for you if you are younger and don't have diabetes ( i was 39 with type 2 diabetes).

When you are back in the game, you'll notice it'll seem bigger also because the foreskin is not constricting your size. You are on the right path. Give yourself time to heal. I know I was going crazy because I was use to masturbating daily.

I got back to my old rhythm.

39 and planning to get circumcised (if I can just hang on to money long enough). Good to know it’s not too late to get it done right and reap the benefits!

Hey, just joined to leave a reaction to your post.

I know i am supposed to be supportive, the terms of service say so, but my conscience requires that i am honest. In fact i strongly urge you to reconsider your decision. Here is why:

I was curcumsized at 32 years of age, i am now 54.

I teared up my foreskin from the frenulum downwards, during rough sex with my then girlfriend. I had a lot of foreskin that covered my gland completely even when i had an erection. Because of that my penis used to move back and forth in its own sheath during intercourse. I used to pull it back manually to expose the gland and never had any problems ejaculating inside a vagina.

But my girlfriend insisted that it might be a good idea to remove the entire foreskin, because she hated the smell (she really loved to give oral) and found circumsized penises aestetically pleasing, so i decided to go ahead with it. There has never been a decision that i would come to regret more, in my entire life (and i did some stupid things in my day).

The first few years i was fine, apart from the uncomfortable feeling of the exposed gland rubbing against my underpants. Then gradually, after about 5 years, the sensations (particularly in my gland but also the scarring tissue from the incision) started to diminish.

At first i didn't perceive it as a bad thing, i would last a lot longer than before and my girlfriend was also happy and used to brag to her girlfriends about me lasting for hours. But as time went by it became harder and harder to orgasm inside her. There just wasn't enough friction to reach that point of no return. The only way for her to bring me to orgasm was by oral and vigorous manual stimulation at the same time. The worst part of it was that my girlfriend, even though she knew it had nothing to do with her, began feeling uneasy and insecure about it .

Our relationship ended for many different reasons but my inability to satisfy her sexually, and the subsequent diminished intimacy was a big part of it.

Since then i've had a couple of short-lived relationships.

The same problem occured and the women all had trouble getting their head around the idea that a man could have this problem. It seemed to me that they were so used to being the ones having difficulties reaching orgasms, they couldn't fathom it happening to a man.

Because 99% of men never have any problems cumming during sex. It's a rare affliction to have as a man.

I can't tell you what it did to my self esteem. It was utterly crushed. I feel like less of a man, sexually handicapped. I've come to accept that the damage is irreversible. Maybe i'll find a woman who will accept me as i am now, but i've kind of given up on that a little.

Remember, this just my story. But i now know that my condition is incredibly common amongst older circumsized guys. Their partners also report a significant increase in vaginal discomfort during sex, no doubt because their men had to be a lot rougher to be able to reach an orgasm. This seemed to be a general rule but especially affected men that were, like me, circumsized later in life. I've spoken to hundreds of them. Most of them regretted ever making the decision. This subject is really under-reported because in this day and age it's not very politically correct to say anything negative about such a highly cultural practice.

Anyway, this is why i felt compelled to leave a reaction.

For me, it was the stupidest decision i ever made.

Please, at least consider this before you have this, potentially life-altering procedure done, you may live to regret it. I know i do.. every day.

Respectfully, Jeroen.

Appreciate the insight, I am so sorry about your experience. Have you researched foreskin restoration?

nohopeleft profile image
nohopeleft

Yeah, i've read about that. It takes 5 to 6 years of hanging weights from the remaining skin of the shaft to pull it over the gland. Some men go so far as to build contraptions wich they wear for many hours each day. I don't see myself doing that.

Besides, the results are mostly aestetic, the tissue inside a real foreskin is poreus and provides the gland with moisture, wich can't really be replicated by normal skin. The neurologist i talked to said it was highly unlikely that the damaged nerve-endings would re-grow or regain the ability to send signals to the brain, certainly at my age. If that were the case i could simply wear a protective sheat around the gland of my penis, i tried that, didn't have any effect.

The sensitivity of a penis decreases naturally with age. Even uncut men can experience delayed ejaculation and less intens orgasms after a certain age, usually after 50. But for me that goes double.

I'm just going to have to live with it.

What stunned me the most was the fact that women are judging me pretty harshly for it.

Because i've met plenty of women who struggled having orgasms their entire lives, you'd think they'd understand.

Ah well, it's just the way the world works, i guess.

Thank you for your empathy, i appreciate it.

It's such a shameful subject, it's hard for me to talk to anyone i know about it, hence me taking to the internet. I hope the decision you make, whatever it is, will at least be a little more informed. Best of Luck!
