Premature Ejaculation After Circumcision

Hi, I’m 2 months post op and experiencing pre mature ejaculation. I can hardly last 1 minute. Spoke with my Dr and he can’t seem to give me a reason why this is occurring. He did prescribe me some erection pills to help me get back on the saddle quicker when this happens. Anyone else had experience with this and if so how long did it last? I know those nerves and all are still trying to figure out it’s way down there now since it’s been all carved up.

That would be lidocain, but it really numbs your penis... I would not recommend it... it will feel like you have no penis :/

Do you have a high and tight or a low and tight?

New things get people excited and aroused so I would also watch it and if all is healed after 3-6 months you should be able to assess your situation better.

I love the way it turned out except I’m stuck with lymphoedema swelling ring under glans and where frenulum was removed. Feels like it won’t ever go away. My Circumcision was done due to frenulum tear. This trauma was no way worth it for cosmetic reasons but I love it. It’s Much cleaner and sex is better. Except for the premature ejaculation I’m dealing with right now.

Oh ok, regarding the edema I would have expected it to have subsided as you mentioned that it was a low cut. Usually only the soft inner foreskin tends to cause edema. My surgeon told me that gentle (really gentle) massaging usually helps (so you massage the fluid down on the shaft supporting it to dissipate in the tissue) with that and that you should wear tighter shorts. I recommend using medical grade silicon oil as that does not dray and additionally supports scar healing.

The thing is that lymphatic vessels are cut through and the fluid gets caught easily especially if you wear loose pants with your penis hanging low.

In regards to the premature ejaculation I guess this could subside with the edema going away... seems you are over stimulated at the moment. But I am not sure myself in that regard sorry :/

Thank you for the thorough response. I really appreciate it. I thought the same thing by circumcision style that I shouldn’t be dealing with this swelling still. My urologist wants to wait it out. It’s somethings he like and some things he don’t. Even mentioned a possible revision. I dread that. I can’t go through all this again. I’m praying this fluid move. I will try those massages as well. I use compression but it doesn’t seem to help much. I also wear tight underwear. Sensitivity is so much better than before. It’s almost not any issue now. I agree with you. I think once this swelling dissipates that may help drastically with the PE.

Yes! I’m just waiting it out and remaining as patient as possible. Did you get stuck with swelling ring after circumcision as well?

I was circumcised a long time ago at birth so not really sure how it went lol

I have my surgery upcoming... I am going for high tight... bit afraid of edema myself to be really honest

High and tight looks nice. But like you said edema can be a problem. Mines got so bad I could barley urinate. It was really painful and really swollen. It was a struggle to get urine out. Also, I know guys with tight circumcisions and say it’s really uncomfortable. I’d also be afraid of tethering. So much risk involved with these circumcisions man. I just wanted the least risk possible

Yeah my physician was very clear on that too. He said healing would take longer, edema would be a problem and that the glans would probably not be completely free as he could not do it too tight... well not an easy decision but it does look nice

The most my surgeon told me is that I will have some discomfort. He totally left out all the complications that can be involved in this

Well I chose the two most difficult circumcision techniques for him to explain to me and prepared questions.

The thing is... you have to make a final decision... it is the one or the other... you can't revise a high tight to a low tight or the other way round. So I have to make sure I get what I want and understand it. At least I have the option...
