Hi people, I’ve been experiencing itching and discomfort with a clear /watery foul smelling discharge for some time now (maybe years) when erect i cannot pull my foreskin all the way down and If I try to my penis sort of bends forward. It also looks very sore and I’m concerned. (Can’t be sexually related disease)

Mine used to be almost identical. Head would bend the same way which put strain on my frenulum during sex with certain partners and just cause the foreskin to stay forward to cover most of my glans with other ‘more accommodating’ partners. Without realising it at first I found myself avoiding sex which wrecked my sex life and on reflection was partly to blame for at least two relationship problems.I eventually saw my GP who was very sympathetic and long story short had my frenulum removed. Didn't know such procedure existed and was a really trivial op that totally cured it.

Thanks so much mate, I’ve been docs several times and they examined my limp penis and said there were no issues. Would you suggest that I show them these pictures of my erect penis so they can fully understand the situation?

Yes it wouldn’t hurt to show them the erect photo so they know what you’re talking about. It looks like frenulum breve to me. You might like to check it out.

Went to doctor today about it, and he didn’t seem convinced there was anything wrong even though I explained my issues. I’ve been having issues now for years with my penis and that was even before I was sexually active, think I need to see urologist as let’s be honest, they are more educated than the regular GP when it comes to this sort of thing.

If you have a short frenulum then circumcision is not indicated!! Your frenulum can be sorted. You mention that you have a discharge. Where is it coming from?

I pull my foreskin back and it just feels wet sometimes, I really don’t understand it.

Hi, yes your frenulum does look to be short. I had something similar my glans used to bend down as well. you should speak with your doctor again and explain to him the difficulty you are having when you are erect and it is uncomfortable for you a simple procedure to have it released a frenuloplasty should really help you and make it more comfortable.

Cheers mate, I’m going to go to the doctors and ask to have that happen.

Have you showed the doc your picture? I think if he sees it and you say that you believe that you are suffering from frenulum breve and it needs sorting that he really can’t ignore what you’re saying. Good luck

So the discharge I am having is a clear fluid. I was told it could be smegma, but since then I’ve gone full OCD and am making sure everything is cleaned to perfection, though I’ve noticed no improved results. I get an itching/uncomfortable feeling at the tip of penis when flaccid and the foreskin isn’t retracted. None of this makes sense to me.

I asked doctor yesterday about getting a circumcision and he didn’t seem convinced. I don’t know why they won’t just allow it when they can see I’m clearly in discomfort. Yes I assume it comes out of my urethra but I only noticed when I retract the foreskin down and if feels damp later on in the day. Do you feel a thick vein inside the tip of foreskin when not retracted?

I’ll have to see what they say today at the doctors. If I was you though I’d probably opt towards circumcision as well as I. Granted, it will severely alter your sex life for around a year but I guess it’s just comparing fine negatives and the positives.

Really sorry to hear about it affecting your love life mate. You should mention that to the doctor when you next see him. As for circumcision and religion, I was under the impression that just Judaism preach the belief in which you have to get circumcised, though I do know many of my Christian friends that have also been circumcised from birth.

I’m going to be honest with you right now. For the longest time I didn’t properly clean my area, even after masturbation. I know that’s disgusting but I was at a point in my life where I had no motivation to do anything so that’s my excuse lol. I think there’s a good chance that my lack of hygiene then has caused my current genital issues but obviously that’s just speculation.

Anyway mate hope all goes well for you and good luck if you decide to go ahead with the circumcision.
