Is a smelly penis after a circumcision normal?

Hi. I had a circumcision a week ago. So obviously i have like liquid coming out that is normal. But it really stinks. Is that normal?

You have a liquid coming out and it smells bad. Sounds like you may have an infection. Get it checked out, you'll most likely be given a course of antibiotics. Nothing to worry about if you manage it well now.

Spoke to the doctor on the Phone and she said it is normal. The smell is less now. So for anybody worrying... It is not always infected. It can be normal

Jamie, the first time I put pants on with Vaseline on, a couple of scabs came away and the smell was terrible. I thought this was an infection but probably just a build up of scabby blood coming away.

I would think the drainage is normal for the first week. Not sure about the stinky part. If it continue to smell, I would check with the doctor.
